Di Resta: Grand prix outing
Force India are to use the services of test and reserve driver Paul di Resta in practice sessions for the Australian Grand Prix next Friday.
The 23-year-old Scot will take the place of Adrian Sutil for the two 90-minute sessions with the latter's regular team-mate Vitantonio Liuzzi practising as normal.
However, di Resta will take Liuzzi's place the following Friday during practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang.
With testing limited to just 15,000 km per year and banned completely during the season, the limited track track time available to race drivers makes it unlikely that other teams will follow Force India's lead.
The Melbourne practice sessions will mark di Resta's first outing at a grand prix.
Paul di Resta was many people's rookie of the year in 2011 as he helped Force India to sixth in the constructor's standings.
