The match will be the first Super Rugby match to be played outside Australia, New Zealand or South Africa and will be the centre piece of a major weekend of fundraising by the Red Cross Earthquake appeal, with £5 from every ticket sold will going to the charity.

Since the devastating earthquake in Christchurch last month, the Crusaders have been looking for alternate venues to stage their Super Rugby matches.

Initial concerns over transport and policing were overcome by moving the fixture and the RFU confirmed that Twickenham stadium will host the match.

The Super 15 is the Southern Hemisphere's premier club competition and features the five top teams from each of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The Sharks currently top the table with the likes of Tendai "Beast" Mtawarira, Willem Alberts, Bismark du Plessis and Pat Lambie; while the Crusaders will be bringing a squad full of All Black talent including Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Sonny Bill Williams.

Tickets for Investec Super Rugby Crusaders v Sharks at Twickenham on March 27 (4pm kick-off) can be purchased online via or by telephone 0844 847 2492.
