Kerr: Chasing Brands win
A1 Team Great Britain have revealed their driver choice for the final three rounds of the season, with Oliver Jarvis racing in Mexico before handing over to Robbie Kerr for the final two rounds in China and at Brands Hatch.
Throughout the 2007/08 campaign, team bosses have only revealed who will drive on a race-by-race basis; however, with both men having won on the remaining three tracks last season, the decision proved an easy one to make.
Jarvis will therefore return to Mexico City - where he scored Great Britain's first feature victory - later this month, with Kerr keen to improve on his sprint race victories at both Shanghai and Brands Hatch.
It will also mean that the team will have split the driving duties evenly this season, with both drivers racing in five meetings each.
Chasing an elusive feature race win at Brands on May 4th, Kerr said: "To be asked to represent Great Britain at our home event again is a fantastic honour.
"I cannot wait to go out there in front of the British crowd, to right the wrongs of the first season where our battery failed whilst we were in the lead, and to aim to do the same as last season - but go one better with a feature race win too."
The team have also promised to give opportunities to 'up-and-coming' drivers in rookie sessions held in the final three rounds.
And, should they impress, they could play a part in the 2008/09 season.
