The first race of the 2010 season is done and dusted and now we want to hear your views about Sunday's race in Bahrain.
Fernando Alonso confirmed his status as the pre-season favourite and yet he and Ferrari (and Lewis Hamilton) needed a favour from Red Bull: the Scuderia's one-two finish appears dominant but was it?
And what about McLaren? Their car was clearly slower than both Ferrari's and Red Bull's in qualifying but Hamilton produced a strong performance in the race. What might Jenson Button be thinking?
Michael Schumacher's return was fairly low-key but the seven-times World Champion appears content to play himself back in slowly - the season is 19 races long, after all.
However, Schumacher was quick to criticise the refuelling ban and the processional nature of the race. But Bahrain has hardly produced exciting stuff in the past, has it?
Fill in the form at the bottom and give us your thoughts.
Paul di Resta was many people's rookie of the year in 2011 as he helped Force India to sixth in the constructor's standings.

what a boring race. it was so dissapointing, f1 has the potential to be so much more exciting. the gp2 asia races were so much better there were cars dicing and overtaking all the time. f1 should use their aero package and just make sure they have a lot more horse power, australia better be good.

After building myself up for what on paper appeared to be the most exciting season in at least the last 20 years I was sorely disappointed. New rule changes were brought in apparently to promote overtaking, in the end the race turned out to be a procession and a complete farce, it was like watching parade laps over and over again, in fact while the format is like it is, they may as well make all the races one lap, as the only genuine overtake was Alonso passing Massa after 2 corners! Sure Vettel got passe but only because he lost power in his car, had he had no problem he would have led the parade over the finish line. Also with the weight of the cars I was expecting at least 2 pitstops from every car, another letdown and no action, bring back refuelling, some of us like to see the refuelling hose get stuck, it adds a bit of drama to the race and cars at different weights CAN actually pass each other. I was more excited by watching my 3 year old son playing scalextric with his friend where I saw a few overtaking moves and a few crashes! As things stand there is more excitement watching him play with his £50 toy than watching what was the greatest motorsport. Unless they change the rules fairly quickly the sport is dead for a season as nobody is interested in a sport with no action, I'd rather watch bowls

BORING BORING BORING - I hate to say those 3 words but it is so true. When I heard Schuey was coming back maybe as Massa's replacement the world got all excited as F1 was going to be a pleasure to watch again. With him starting the season this year - wow.... With the new changes I am so sad to say that unless they change something FAST then we are in for one of the biggest disasters in sporting history... We have the drivers and teams that could make this so memorable but they need to bring back the old rules so it can be an excitement to watch again. I almost turned off at the weekend as nothing happened.

Hello well i think Formula 1 without having to not use a refulling system is silly beacaue when there was no overtakeing happing on the circuit such as at moncaco and maybe any other races like that ok maybe barrain includes it to.When the refulling was there it was exciting to see people going past each other in the pits lol it was great fun also to see what the teams would put into their cars before they start the grad prix each race now they have taken it away they should bring it back ayone agree with me?Then we may see more atcion in the sport.

I cant for the life of me figure out why they banned refuelling?! half the excitement was trying to figure out everyones strategies and see what would happen when there was rain / a safety car / someone 3 stopping vs someone 1 stopping. Now everybody is on EXACTLY the same tyres / strategy / fuel load, leading to a funeral procession of a 'race'. Pinnacle of motor sport? It would be if bernie and co would leave it alone!!

well what can i say, ive been watching F1 since i can remember but with all these changing rules and regulations thing will only get worst, if the first race of the year is anything to go buy which i found quit boring, it seemed who ever got in front at the begining was going to win as the cars have the same stratagy and no one can pass unless of reliability problems as the cars where heavy on fual, lets hope it not the same for the rest of the season else i will have to find something like the ironing which is about as exciting, very disapointed after all the hipe for the new season.

i have followed F1 for alot of years and the last couple of years finally the excitement was back. But with the new rule changes they have it has made it boring. The only racing was happening at the back of the grid. I hope they seriously consider making changes if things dont improve or i will not be watching for the first time.

you guys are forgetting this is bahrain AND the first race of the he track never has produced memorable races, i think it was more exciting then other years, not to mention that half the teams were running their cars for the first time, australia is a classic track and im sure itll be much more of a spectacle

This was one of the most boring races I have seen to date, So much hype was made that this season was going to be one of the best. Well if that's the best, then you can keep it, I would rather watch paint dry. Goodbye F1, you have lost a fan in me.

Boring, boring, boring, boring. All these rule changes are just bringing the sport to it's knees. The drivers can't push the car because first they have to save the tires beacuse of the full fuel load, they can't push the car beause they also have to save the engine, they can't overtake because of the heavy fuel loads. FIA all you guys are doing is destroying the sport.

Personally, it was just a poor track, Bahrain's always been a poor track, it's simply in the calendar so Bernie can get some more money! No overtaking areas anywhere unless mistakes are made. Had the first race been melbourne, i think the season would have started on a much higher note.

Now come on F1 fans, play the game, at one time or other you have all put these ideas forward, now you have got them you are still not satisfied, years ago Le Mans was contested by cars with few rules now one of the greatest races is all but gone, F1 has been altered that many times the rule book is 20 times thicker than it was, all we want is as few rules as possible, safe cars, good inventive designers, the best drivers, free testing, free practice with all cars on the track. Result. The best driver. The best car, not some phoney stiched up by faulse pit stops. drivers had to learn how to conserve the car and make it work. I never heard Jimmy Clarke or John Surtees gripe like this.

What a let down. Such a great build up after a long wait . Just BORING. Why keep slowing the cars down lets see some overtaking.Cars in dirty air which can not overtake. Bernie has got to start aranging egg and spoon races. Great to see the Ferrari;s back and Schey
