If you love Sky Sports and your Xbox 360 then prepare to get excited.
Sky Player, Sky's online TV service, has joined forces with Xbox to allow you to watch Sky Sports through your games console.
Sky Player already allows you to catch the action as it happens on your computer, but you can now use your Xbox 360 to view the pick of the Sky Sports action.
Sky Player is now available via the Xbox 360 so all of Sky Player's great sports content and features are available on your TV for the first time. And with Xbox's unique Avatar Party Mode you can watch live sport with your mates - even if you're home alone. Your personalised Xbox avatars can watch the match together in your virtual apartment, while real-time chat lets you share your opinions on the game
Sky Player on the Xbox 360 gives you another way to enjoy Sky Sports. You can access a selection of great sports highlights and if you also have Broadband Unlimited or Multiroom you can watch live Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and Xtra.
You just need an Xbox 360 with LIVE Gold membership, a minimum 2Mb broadband connection and a Sky TV or Sky Player subscription. If you can tick these boxes then register or subscribe online now.
Sky Player is free to existing Sky TV customers, with the availability of channels and programmes being dependant on your core Sky TV subscription. Non Sky TV customers can subscribe to Sky Player from £15 for the Entertainment Pack, and can add Sports Pack for an additional £19 per month. To view Sky Player via your Xbox 360 you will need an Xbox LIVE Gold membership (see www.xbox.com for more details).
Coming soon, Sky Player will be accessible via Windows Media Center, following the release of Windows 7. For info, see www.skyplayer.com/win7
With a compatible 3G phone and a contract with Vodafone UK & Ireland, Orange, T-Mobile or 3, you can enjoy live sports and news from Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, Xtra, Sky Sports News and ESPN. Subscription to Sky Mobile TV required.
