Benfica have reached an agreement with Blackburn for Marco Zoro to undergo a trial in England.

The Ivory Coast international has fallen out of favour in Portugal and no longer features in Quique Sanchez Flores' plans.

As a result, he has been allowed to search for potential openings elsewhere.

The defender revealed on Friday that he is set to spend a week training with West Ham in the near future, while Blackburn are now also keen to take a look at him.

Zoro is under contract at Benfica until 2010, having only joined the club in 2007, but should have no problems negotiating an exit.

His time with Rovers will last one week, with Sam Allardyce then due to make a decision regarding any possible permanent contract.
