Fabiano: Milan interest
Luis Fabiano's agent has claimed AC Milan have made an official approach to Sevilla for the Brazil striker.
Milan are in the market for a forward following Kaka's £56million departure to Real Madrid and had made Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko their No.1 target.
But with Wolfsburg adamant the Bosnian will remain in Germany, it seems Fabiano has emerged as Milan's top transfer priority.
Fabiano's representative, Jose Fuentes, told Sky Italia: "Milan have made an official offer to Sevilla for Luis Fabiano.
"The player has already said he wants to play for Milan next season. I don't know how much the bid amounts to, but there is this important and official offer on the table.
"Now it is up to the Rossoneri and Sevilla to reach an agreement, then my client and I will speak to Milan.
"The buy-out clause on his contract is €30m (£25.7m), but Luis Fabiano has concluded a four-year cycle with Sevilla and now Milan represent a big opportunity for him.
"I repeat, the player has publicly stated he wants to join Milan, now it is up to the two clubs to strike a deal.
"I think it will take two to three weeks, but no more than that."
A transfer to Milan for Fabiano would seemingly end any possibility that Emmanuel Adebayor could leave Arsenal for San Siro.
