Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is hoping to bring Arsenal starlet Jay Emmanuel-Thomas back to the club on loan.

Emmanuel-Thomas spent three months at Bloomfield Road earlier in the season and impressed for the Championship club.

He has yet to make his Arsenal debut, but signed a new long-term contract at Emirates Stadium before Christmas and has also been on the bench recently.

Holloway is now planning to hold talks with the Gunners with the aim of agreeing a deal to sign the 19-year-old for the rest of the season.

"There will be a chance, but I've got to ask Arsenal," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette.

"I have been very mindful of what he's been doing and I've been watching his situation.

"He hasn't really gone back in their first-team set-up anywhere along the line, so there might be a possibility of doing something."
