Serie A side Genoa have signed Brazilian striker Wilson and full-back Anthony Vanden Borre.

Wilson has signed from Corinthians and replaces fellow striker Ndiaye Papa Waigo, whom Genoa have traded with Fiorentina for Vanden Borre.

Genoa wanted to only loan Papa Waigo, but the two clubs have instead reached an agreement to trade co-ownership rights, meaning Papa Waigo and Vanden Borre are now jointly owned by Fiorentina and Genoa.

Under rules, Papa Waigo can now not be loaned out again this season to any club other than his old side Cesena as a player cannot be registered with more than three different teams in the space of the same season.
