McParland: Offering opportunity
Notts County have completed the signing of Derby starlet Jason Beardsley on a three-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old is a highly-rated product of Derby's Academy and has been allowed to leave in order to gain first-team experience.
The defender made his Derby debut in a Carling Cup tie with Blackpool in August 2007.
Beardsley was also an unused substitute in three Premier League games last season, his first as a professional player, as the Rams were relegated.
However, Beardsley is expected to be handed the opportunity to impress by County manager Ian McParland.
