Torquay have agreed a deal with Southampton to extend the loans of Jake Thomson and Michael Poke.

Goalkeeper Poke moved to Plainmoor at the start of September but had been due to return to his parent club next week.

He will now remain with the Gulls until the end of the season and is also eligible for the FA Cup.

Midfielder Thomson, meanwhile, has extended his loan for another month and will remain at the League Two club until the end of January.
