Kilmarnock have continued their summer recruitment drive by signing defender Zdenek Kroca on a free transfer from Blue Square Premier club Luton Town.

The Czech Republic stopper linked up with Luton on a one-year deal last summer after impressing on trial and was a virtual ever present last term.

The 30-year-old's solid displays for the Hatters have now earned Kroca a move to the SPL and he has signed a two-year deal at Rugby Park.

Kroca is Kilmarnock's fifth summer signing and manager Kenny Shiels is confident of adding another player to his squad in the next 24 hours.

Shiels has already brought in Paul Heffernan, Patrick Ada, Gary Hawkins and Danny Racchi, but missed out on Chris Clark after the midfielder opted for a return to Aberdeen.
