Bristol Rovers manager Paul Buckle has made midfielder Joe Anyinsah his 12th signing of the summer.

Bristol-born Anyinsah, 26, arrives at the Memorial Stadium after being released from Charlton.

Buckle said: "I know I've said this about some of the other players we've signed, but I'm delighted Joe is joining us.

"He's a very skilful player, possess pace in abundance, can score goals and has that work ethic that I always look for in a player and which is so important to me.

"His signing means that we're close to completing our squad for the beginning of the new season."

Anyinsah started his career at Rovers' cross-city rivals Bristol City before moving to Preston and then Carlisle prior to his spell at Charlton.
