Blackpool have completed the signing of Liverpool's Argentine youngster Gerardo Bruna.

As exclusively revealed by skysports.com earlier this month, Blackpool were lining up a deal for the Argentine winger.

Bruna, who joined Liverpool from Real Madrid in the summer of 2007, never made a first-team appearance for the Reds during his time at the club.

The 20-year-old linked up with Blackpool during their training camp in Portugal and he has impressed Seasiders boss Ian Holloway.

Bruna is believed to have agreed a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road to become Blackpool's latest signing of the summer.

A statement on Liverpool's official website read: "Liverpool have completed the permanent transfer of Gerardo Bruna to Championship side Blackpool."

Blackpool are also keen on signing Bruna's former Liverpool team-mate Tom Ince, but they face competition from Fulham for his signature.
