Mambo: Makes loan move from Charlton

Charlton defender Yado Mambo has joined non-league Ebbsfleet on a month's loan after falling down the pecking order at the Addicks.

The 19-year-old has appeared in both of the Addicks' Carling Cup ties this season but is behind Matt Taylor, Michael Morrison, Leon Cort and Gary Doherty in the pecking order for a centre-half spot.

"We had one or two other Blue Square Premier clubs looking at him but he will be going to Ebbsfleet for a month," said manager Chris Powell.

"I'm hoping it will do him the world of good. He will still remain with us and we will keep a watchful eye on his training, but he will play for them and it will be good for him."
