Alves: Considering future
Manchester United target Daniel Alves has hinted he could leave Sevilla this summer.
The highly-rated defender is one of the most sought-after players in Europe after impressing at Sevilla over the last few seasons.
A number of clubs including United, Chelsea and Barcelona have been linked with a move for Alves, but Sevilla have resisted all offers for the Brazilian international
Chelsea appear to be out of the running for Alves following their signing of Jose Bosingwa and reports have suggested United are readying a move for the attacking full-back in the summer as they seek a long-term replacement for Gary Neville.
Alves has given his suitors encouragement by revealing that he plans to meet with Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido to try and thrash out his future.
"I am attending a meeting with the president to resolve the subject, but perhaps my cycle has finished in Sevilla," Alves told the Spanish press.
Reports in Spain suggest Barcelona are leading the race for Alves with the player having his heart set on a switch to Camp Nou.
The Brazilian's goalscoring exploits have alerted the best clubs across Europe and United could be ready to battle with Real Madrid for Fabiano.
Sevilla have played down reports claiming Manchester United have made a double bid for Alves and Fabiano, but admitted they will consider all offers.
"Sevilla is open to study offers for our players including Luis Fabiano and Daniel Alves, but only if they meet our asking price," a Sevilla spokesman told skysports.com.
"Still we have not received any offer and now is the normal time for rumours."
