Capel: Rules out Spurs switch
Tottenham target Diego Capel has stated he is happy at Sevilla and not looking to leave the club.
The 20-year-old was the subject of a bid from White Hart Lane earlier this month as manager Juande Ramos looks to strengthen his squad.
Even though Spurs' offer exceeded a buy-out clause in his contract which allows him to speak to other Spanish teams, Sevilla shunned their approach.
With Spurs possibly mulling over upping the ante, Capel has ruled out playing Premier League football next term by stating he is not looking to move on.
"Now I'm a Sevilla player and what I want to do is enjoy that," he told Sevilla's official website.
"I hope to be here for a long time, certainly, because I won't listen to offers from other sides.
"The club has made some great signings and we hope things turn out well.
"The objective this season is to qualify for the Champions League and we hope this will be a successful year."
