Hearts have offered Tibor Heber the opportunity to impress after inviting the German midfielder to train with the club on a short-term basis.

The 23-year-old arrives from Alemannia Aachen, a Bundesliga 2 side who Hearts are due to face on a pre-season tour, as manager Csaba Laszlo analyses his talents.

Laszlo is prepared to forge a new-look team next season and is willing to give all individuals the chance to stake their claim.

"Next season will be a new team and new chances for everybody," Laszlo told Hearts News.

"At this moment everybody gets their chance and if they use it, they keep their place in the team.

"That is how football works. You give someone the opportunity and it is up to them to take it. Then we go from there."
