Chris Coleman is hoping to bring in two new players when the loan window reopens.

The Coventry manager has been left short of attacking options ahead of Saturday's clash with Bristol City after Leon Best joined Newcastle before Monday's transfer deadline.

Clinton Morrison and Freddy Eastwood will be the only two recognised centre-forwards in Coleman's squad, although he will have the opportunity to do business again when the emergency loan window becomes active from Tuesday.

"It (Best's move) happened on the last day so it was always going to be difficult but that's not to say we're not going to be able to do something next week with the loan window," said Coleman.

"Which is what we're looking at and possibly two players coming in next week. With a bit of luck next week maybe we'll have two new faces, maybe one I don't know. But we're working hard to achieve that.

"They'll be established, experienced players. Players that we've liked for a long time.

"As we know with football, there's no guarantees it will happen but we're working hard to ensure it does."
