Tony Pulis is unfazed by Stoke City's lack of activity in the transfer market this summer and hinted new faces will be forthcoming.

Restless noises have being mounting amongst the Potters faithful as they await the club's first signing of the close season.

Reports have linked the Premier League outfit with a move for Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley, who becomes a free agent at the end of the month.

Pulis is believed to be a long-time admirer of the 23-year-old Wales international, who is also attracting interest from the likes of Everton, Celtic, Roma and Galatasaray.

But the Britannia Stadium manager is urging fans to remain patient for the time being.

Waiting game

"It's the phoney season with transfers at the moment, so there is a lot going on beneath the surface, but few people are making a move," Pulis told The Sentinel.

"We are aware of who is and who isn't available, but agents and players are still dipping their toes in the water and not committing themselves just yet.

"That will change as time goes on. It's just a case of everyone being patient and then hoping we can get who we want when people start making firm decisions."
