Mario Balotelli's agent has claimed Inter Milan have turned down an offer from Manchester City.

The Italy Under-21 striker was dropped by former Inter coach Jose Mourinho last season and was rumoured to be heading out of the San Siro this summer.

But while his agent, Mino Raiola, insists there was a firm approach by big-spending City for the 19-year-old, he is unwilling to disclose more details.

Balotelli has three years left on his contract with the Nerazzurri and Raiola is adamant he is happy to remain with the Italian champions.

Offer

"Was there a real offer from City? Yes, there was but it is not for me to say," he told GR Parlamento radio.

"Mario Balotelli's situation is calm. He is an Inter player.

"There are no negotiations, hence, he will remain at Inter."
