'Ford UCL Final Ticket Giveaway with SKY - Matchday 6' - Terms and Conditions
1.No purchase necessary. Promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 years old and over. Employees and their immediate families of Ford Motor Company Ltd, British Sky Broadcasting Group plc, their associated and affiliated companies, their agents or anyone else connected professionally with the promotion are not eligible to enter. Only one entry is allowed per person. No bulk entries received nor entries via third parties will be accepted.
2.The closing date for the promotion is 00:00 (GMT) Tuesday 1st December 2009.
3.To enter, participants must answer the question 'Liverpool FC staged an incredible fight back to claim the UEFA Champions League trophy in the 2004/05 season, but who scored Liverpool's equaliser to send the match into extra time?' (a) Steven Gerrard (b) Xabi Alonso or (c) Harry Kewell' and confirm if they would like to watch Chelsea FC or Liverpool FC in a UEFA Champions League match on skysports.com/forduefachampionsleague. Participants who answer the question correctly will then be entered into an independently supervised random prize draw from which 2 grand prize winners will be drawn.
4.There are 2 grand prizes available. The first grand prize is for a pair of tickets to the 09/10 UEFA Champions League Group Stage match Chelsea FC vs APOEL FC at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 8th December 2009 which takes place in the UK. The second grand prize is for a pair of tickets to the 09/10 UEFA Champions League Group Stage match Liverpool FC vs ACF Fiorentina at Anfield on Wednesday 9th December 2009. The Promoter will arrange for provision of the two tickets to each of the grand prize winners. The winners and guests must make their own arrangements for travel to and from the matches. The first and prize winner and guest must be able to attend the match on Tuesday 8th December 2009 and the second grand prize winner and guest must be able to attend the match on Wednesday 9th December 2009. The Promoter shall not be responsible for events outside its control which results in the winner/guests missing the UEFA Champions League match. The prize does not include travel or personal insurance (including health insurance) and winners and their guests are responsible for obtaining their own insurance and are liable for this cost. Normal football travel rules and admission restriction apply.
5.The two grand prize winners will drawn at random (by an independent person) from those respondents who correctly answered the question and selected Chelsea FC (first grand prize winner), those who correctly answered the question and selected ACF Fiorentina (second grand prize winner) at 00:00 (GMT) Tuesday 1st December 2009 and notified by email and phone on Wednesday 2nd December 2009. If the winner is unable to attend and does not nominate in writing an alternative person to accept (any alternative person must comply with these Terms and Conditions) the prize by 12:00 (GMT) Thursday 3rd December 2009, entitlement to this will be deemed to be forfeited and the prize will be awarded to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original winners. The entry and prize is personal and non transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter. Under no circumstances can the tickets be resold or transferred once the winners' details have been submitted. No cash alternative or other prize alternatives are available except that in the event of unforeseen circumstances out of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of greater or equal value.
6.The computer record of the entry will be considered as being the formal entry. Any entry not adhering to the above format or incorrect entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter is not responsible for entry information or results lost or delayed in the course of transmission.
7.The decision of the promoter is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion. The Promoter will not enter into correspondence in relation the promotion.
8.For the winner's name and county, please send a stamped addressed envelope by Thursday 31st December 2009 to 'Ford 09/10 UCL Final Ticket Giveaway with SKY -Matchday 6', 10 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4QB.
9.By submitting your details, you hereby declare that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to check the validity of the entry.
10.The Promoter reserves the right to require the winner to participate in publicity events in relation to this promotion for Ford or any Ford Company in Europe. In particular, the Promoter intends to publish the winner's name and hometown, photographs in future editions of Ford Magazine, Backbone Commercial News and photographs and footage of the winner and guests during their trip on www.ford.co.uk. By participating in the promotion, each Participant explicitly agrees to grant Ford Motor Company Ltd, its subsidiaries and affiliates a royalty-free, exclusive indefinite licence to publish and broadcast and otherwise use the material in any media worldwide including the unlimited right to sub-licence (This may include the transmission of the material by our overseas partners). Each participant further confirms that the publishing or broadcast of the material will not breach any third party's intellectual property or associated rights or that all necessary permissions have been obtained, and agrees to indemnify Ford against any claims brought by a third party for breach of such rights. By participating in the promotion, you agree that no claim shall be asserted against the Promoter, its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employers or agents in respect of any and all loses or injuries (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential loses), damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that result from your acceptance of the prize to the full extent permissible in law.
11.Participants' personal information will be used and/or disclosed for the purposes of running the promotion, for participation in the prize and in accordance with the Promoters' Privacy Policy, which is located at www.ford.co.uk.
12.The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems of traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any website, or combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a Participant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in relation to the promotion. By participating in the promotion, you agree that no claim relating to any such loss or injury (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses) shall be asserted against the Promoter or its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employers or agents.
13.The Promoter is not liable in any way for any costs, expenses, damages, liability or injury arising out of or in any way connected with the 'Ford 09/10 UCL Final Ticket Giveaway with SKY - Matchday 6'. This limitation does not exclude any liability for negligence by the Promoter or death or personal injury arising out of such negligence.
14.Entrants will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions upon entering the Promotion.
15.The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the promotion at any time if circumstances make this necessary.
16.The decision of the Promoter is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion. The Promoter will not enter into any correspondence in relation to the Promotion.
17.This promotion is governed by the law of England and Wales and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from the entry or interpretation of these terms and conditions.
