Dagenham boss John Still felt there were positives to take from his side's 1-0 League Two defeat to Oxford on Tuesday.

Robert Hall, on loan from West Ham, marked his U's debut with the only goal of the game to stretch the Daggers' winless run to four league matches.

"The result was disappointing but I thought the performance from the team was okay," said Still. "I was pleased we were able to get more balls into the box than we have been in previous games and in general we created more chances and it is an improvement.

"I can't be too disheartened with the effort the boys put in. We had a few chances to get something but just couldn't find the finish.

"We have been in worse positions than this before and we will be in worse positions again but it is how we react from these."
