Ceplak: two-year ban

The Slovenian Athletics Federation (AZS) has confirmed Jolanda Ceplak's two-year doping ban.

Ceplak tested positive for the blood booster EPO in Monaco on June 18 last year.

The 31-year-old won the bronze medal in the 800 metres at the 2004 Olympics and holds the world indoor record at the distance.

"It was a difficult decision to reach but we have concluded that Jolanda Ceplak is guilty," AZS president Slavko Cerne told reporters after a seven-hour meeting which finished early on Thursday morning.
