Great Britain's women have been drawn alongside defending champions Germany at this summer's Olympic Games in Beijing.
The Germans took gold in Athens four years ago and since that success have also added a European championship title.
Great Britain, who are currently ranked 10th in the world, will also face world number two Argentina, Japan (ranked sixth), New Zealand (seventh) and the USA (11th).
The other pool includes World Cup winners Holland, Australia, China, Spain, South Korea and South Africa.
