Quotes of the week
The Barloworld team have admitted they have been left shocked at the news Moises Duenas Nevado has tested positive for EPO.
The team immediately suspended the Spanish rider and withdrew him from the Tour de France following raids by French police on their hotel in Tarbes.
The French anti-doping agency announced on Wednesday morning that Duenas Nevado had tested positive for EPO in his A sample following the fourth stage of the race - the Cholet time-trial on July 8.
And the Barloword team have attempted to distance themselves from the scandal.
"I'm shocked," Barloworld team manager Claudio Corti said.
"I want to find out more about what has happened before going into detail and taking further action.
"However the one thing I will say is that the team is not involved in this story at all.
"We'll take severe action against anyone who damages our credibility and the image of our team."
