Boxing

Ricky and the Prizefighters
9.00pm, Sky Box Office (Channel 743) and Sky Box Office HD (Channel 752)
Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton is back in the ring to try and avenge his defeat by Floyd Mayweather late last year when he takes on New York's Paulie Malignaggi at the same MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The headline fight is proceded by a classy set of bouts on the undercard and the fourth edition in the Prizefighters series, this time featuring the middleweights. Rugby League World Cup

The Final - Australia v New Zealand
8.30am, Sky Sports 2
The 12 countries that started out on the road to World Cup glory has been whittled down to two, and it is the Kangaroos and Kiwis who will clash for the big prize in Brisbane. Australia have been dominant since the start of the tournament, but the visitors from across the Tasman should provide them with their most demanding test so far - will it be enough to stop the juggernaut?

Rugby Union

England v South Africa
2.00pm, Sky Sports 2 & HD2
England followed up their win over the Pacific Islanders by going down to Australia, and Matt Giteau's boot, at Twickenham last Saturday, so now they face the Springboks not only looking to bounce back for coach Martin Johnson but also for a modicum of revenge for their dual defeat in last year's World Cup, including the heartbreaker that proved to be the tournament's grand finale.

Championship Football

Plymouth Argyle v Cardiff City
12.30pm, Sky Sports 1 & HD1
Paul Sturrock's Argyle look to extend their unbeaten run to three as they host Cardiff at Home Park. A win would take the Greens level on points with their opponents, who currently hold on to the final play-off spot despite losing two of their last three outings.

Nottingham Forest v Norwich City
5.15pm, Sky Sports 1 & HD1
Forest look to end a run of three frustrating stalemates as they continue their battle to get out of the bottom three at the expense of an under-performing Canaries outfit themselves winless in four and plunging back down the table. Expect nerves to be high on the agenda for both sides at the City Ground.

Tennis

Davis Cup final
4.00pm, Sky Sports 3
Argentina and Spain continue their battle on the hardcourts of the Islas Malvinas Stadium in Buenos Aires. Saturday sees the doubles specialists in action, including Spain's unheralded Marcel Granollers Pujol, who could come into the side with Rafael Nadal having decided not to play due to end-of-season fatigue.

Spanish Football

Real Madrid v Recreativo
7.00pm, Sky Sports Xtra
Troubled times in Madrid, although Bernd Schuster holds on to his job as manager despite the shambolic 1-0 defeat at Valladolid last weekend. The German will be in desperate need of the tonic that three points against 'Recre' would bring - defeat against the second from bottom side would surely see the pressure rise to bursting point, although the visitors' only win of the La Liga season so far did come on their travels against Betis as they look for a little solace.

Sevilla v Valencia
9.00pm, Sky Sports Xtra
Sevilla will fancy their chances of overtaking their opponents with victory at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan after Valencia's stunning 3-2 home defeat by Sporting Gijon last weekend. Both sides are locked together on 23 points in the table with identical W7-D2-L2 records so expect this one to be a close and cagey affair.

Cricket

Australia v New Zealand
12.00am, Sky Sports Xtra
Day four (if necessary) from Brisbane as New Zealand look to take an unlikely 1-0 lead in their Test series against the Australians, who have been struggling for form with bat and ball in recent months.

Golf

U.B.S. Hong Kong Open
6.00am, Sky Sports 3
The third day of the co-sanctioned European/Asian Tour event at the striking Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. South Africa's Richard Sterne was among the early leaders and could be among those looking to take advantage on 'moving day' as the Asian contingent look to provide a home winner for the first time in a decade.

A1GP

Malaysian Grand Prix
6.00am, Sky Sports 3
Qualifying for Sunday's race takes place at Sepang with the hosts looking to defend their championship lead. Fairuz Fauzy has mixed in brilliant success in the Netherlands with two below-par efforts in China and will have to be at his best to hold off the likes of Ireland's Adam Carroll and Danny Watts from Great Britain.
