John Cena has earned the right to face WWE Champion Triple H for the title at Night of Champions after defeating Jeff Hardy on RAW.
After successfully defeating Randy Orton at One Night Stand - The Game watched on as Mr. McMahon set a match between Cena and Hardy for the right to face the champ after both men had also reigned supreme at ONS.
Clearly still struggling physically from Sunday's encounters - both Cena and Hardy traded blows before the man who successfully overcame JBL at ONS sealed the win and a spot at Night of Champions.
After encouraging an out of sorts Shawn Michaels to continue his Stretcher Match with Batista at ONS, Y2J vowed to put his own title on the line as seldom as possible.
With Batista pulverising HBK on Sunday evening, Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho successfully defended his belt the following night on RAW against JBL.
After dedicating the bout to the wounded Michaels, Y2J defended his precious gold in a match that ended with a disqualification.
The Longhorn Loudmouth finished the contest by bringing a steel chair to the ring. Jericho countered the blow, but instead of clattering his rival with the weapon he had a change of heart and left the ring with his opponent unscathed.
