WWE Champion John Cena teamed with World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker to take on Triple H and Shawn Michaels and Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Big Show in the scheduled non-title Triple Threat Tag Team Match.

The blockbuster main event featured an array of manoeuvres and had an aura of high-energy about it as all six superstars had their own individual rivalries to deal with.

And with Survivor Series looming, every man involved looked to gain the upper hand and give themselves a boost heading into their respective title matches on Sunday.

In the end, the two world champions prevailed when Cena secured the victory for his team courtesy of an Attitude Adjustment to Triple H.

However, The Deadman suddenly turned on his partner and tombstoned Cena, leaving the WWE Champion motionless on the canvas as RAW went off the air.

Implications

What implications will this have for the WWE champion as he looks to retain his title against not one but two opponents at Survivor Series?

The Deadman certainly has the momentum after making a statement on Monday Night RAW. Can The Phenom defeat the Unified Tag Team champions to retain his World Title?

Elsewhere, the feud between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton hit boiling point after the two rivals tore each other apart ahead of their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match this Sunday.

After trading blows with The Viper, Kingston slammed Orton across the head, opening up a nasty gash and leaving The Viper lying hurt atop of a table.

Kingston wasn't finished though and climbed atop a railing and hit a Boom Drop onto Orton, severing the table into two which left his nemesis in gut-wrenching pain.

Elsewhere on the card, The Miz retained his US championship against MVP. Jack Swagger scored a victory over high-flyer Evan Bourne whilst Santino Marella defeated Chavo Guerrero.

Finally, Divas champion Melina recorded the one-two-three over rival Alicia Fox in a Divas Lumberjill championship Match.
