Tisdale: Not backing striker
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale had little sympathy for Daniel Nardiello after his 19th-minute dismissal in their 2-0 defeat at Charlton.
Nardiello thought he had put the visitors in front five minutes earlier with a close-range shot which looked to have crossed the line.
However, both the officials failed to agree with the forward and his anger got the better of him shortly afterwards when he launched a foul-mouthed tirade against the linesman which resulted in a straight red card.
"Clearly I can't hear what he said, I'm a long way away," said Tisdale. "The referee has sent him off I believe for foul and abusive language. That's the referee's prerogative I suppose.
"I suppose the criticism of Danny is the incident occurred two or three minutes after the incident he is still grumbling about and making a fuss about.
"No matter what sport you play in, or what game it is, you've got to move on and get on with the game. If the referee deemed him to be worthy of a red card then so be it. As much as you think you are being wronged with the decision, you've got to get on with it."
