Danny Hylton is looking to claim Aldershot's winning goal which saw off Cheltenham 1-0 at the EBB Stadium.
The 72nd-minute winner was credited to Michael Rankine after he rose highest to nod in Luke Guttridge's corner but Hylton, with the backing of video footage, is claiming he got the final touch.
Hylton told Town's official website: "We have all seen it after the match and everybody will view it on the Football League Show, but I clearly put the ball over the line after Michael got a great header in the build-up.
"It is 100% my goal and I cannot stress enough how much it is my goal."
