Milito: Late winner
Inter Milan extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points as Juventus were undone by Cagliari.
Inter Milan started the day with a five-point advantage over Juventus and left it late to overcome Fiorentina 1-0 at home.
The game looked set to finish goalless until Diego Milito fired home a penalty with five minutes remaining to seal a hard-fought victory.
Cagliari did Inter an extra favour by shocking Juventus 2-0 to move up to seventh.
Nene opened the scoring for Cagliari after 31 minutes and Alessandro Matri made the result safe just one minute before the final whistle.
Milan capitalised on Juve's slip-up to rise to second courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Catania.
It was a cruel loss on Catania as there was nothing to separate the sides until Klaas-Jan Huntelaar netted in the 90th minute.
Amazingly, the same player still had time to score again as the Rossoneri moved one point ahead of Juve.
In-form Napoli stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches but were denied all three points in a 1-1 draw with Parma.
German Denis broke the deadlock for Napoli in the 32nd minute, only for Nicola Amoruso to equalise five minutes from time.
Bari have built their success this season on a solid defensive foundation but they had to come from behind to beat bottom club Siena 2-1 after Simone Vergassola scored in only the third minute.
Andrea Masiello drew Bari level in the 78th minute before Giuseppe Greco fired home the winner in stoppage time.
Roma kept up their encouraging form with a 2-1 success at struggling Atalanta, who took the lead through Fabio Ceravolo after 13 minutes.

Elvis Abbruscato's 54th minute effort secured a 1-0 win for Chievo over Palermo, who had Fabio Liverani sent off late on.
