South Africa have added Munster centre Jean de Villiers to their squad for their international against Ireland on Saturday.

De Villiers joined the Irish province in September after the end of the successful Tri-Nations campaign.

However injury to fellow centre Adi Jacobs, who will now return home after damaging his ankle, has forced coach Peter de Villiers to turn to the former Stormers back.
