Burton boss Paul Peschisolido wants a tighter defence after his side's unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at Accrington.

Justin Richards fired home his third goal of the season to hand the Brewers the lead but Dean Winnard and Wes Fletcher struck twice after the break to secure victory for Stanley.

Peschisolido said: "We knew it would be a difficult place to come, it's been a fortress for them, and that they would be wounded following the 4-1 defeat to Port Vale so we knew they would come at us.

"You have got to give them a great deal of credit although I thought we were well worth a draw. We had a couple of chances but didn't take them and we should have scored more goals.

"The goals we conceded are disappointing but we need to get some consistency in our game if we want to achieve anything in this league. We have got to smarten up at the back and that's everyone, not just the back four.

"This is a disappointment but you have got to be realistic, we have had a good start to the season, we have performed well and this was a set back and although you would like to, you are not going to win all your games. We will watch the video on Monday, look at things defensively and put it right."
