Biarritz are set to be without France full-back Damien Traille when they run out against Racing Métro 92 on Wednesday.

Versatile back Traille could miss the rearranged Top 14 meeting, previously scheduled to take place during week 12 of the season, after suffering with a gluteal muscle injury that he picked up against New Zealand in Marseille.

Traille will undergo a late fitness before a decision is made on whether or not to include him on the bench.

Iain Balshaw has also been ruled out due to an ankle problem, but in-form prop Fabien Barcella and England centre Ayoola Erinle return on the bench.

Biarritz will be looking to bounce back following their comprehensive 34-6 defeat to league leaders Castres.

Meanwhile, Racing continue their chase for the play-offs before they take on Toulon over the coming weekend.

The Parisians are boosted by the return of France lock duo Sebastien Chabal and Lionel Nallet for the clash, but will be without the injured Frans Steyn.
