Didier Drogba has expressed his support to the Ivory Coast after travelling to his homeland.

The 32-year-old powerful frontman has not been selected in the Elephants' latest squad, as new boss Francois Zahoui does not believe he is in the right state of mind.

Drogba is thought to have fallen out with Ivorian icons the Toure brothers, and has been criticised by many back home as the troublemaker in the camp.

However, despite not being selected in the squad to face Rwanda, the Chelsea man insists he is fully behind the manager and the team.

He told skysports.com: "I am here to show you my support to the squad. I am with you, I want to give you guys my support, hope you guys win the game.

"I am still available for selection and I have told coach Zahoui he has my support."

Meanwhile, Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has denied that there is a rift between himelf and Drogba.

Toure added to Skysports.com: "Personally, I do not have any problem with Didier.

"We speak, we text each other, sometimes you have different points of view in the team, which is normal between professionals.

"We are united to play in the national team, we win together and lose together."
