Sparta Prague midfielder Juraj Kucka is being tracked by two Premier League clubs, according to his agent.
The 23-year-old was one of the stars of Sparta's triumph in the Czech top-flight and has also caught the eye during this summer's World Cup finals.
The Slovakia international, who can play as a defensive midfielder but has also shown his attacking prowess in South Africa, has previously been linked with Birmingham City, Hertha Berlin and Bayer Leverkusen.
And Kucka's agent Emil Kovarovic claims a Serie A club has entered the race for his client's signature.
"We have registered one specific offer from an Italian club," Kovarovic told SITA.
"Besides this one there has also been interest in Juraj from two English clubs and from German clubs. All these clubs play in the top leagues in their country."
Sparta Prague have said they would like to keep hold of Kucka but would be willing to cash in on the highly-rated Slovak if an 'interesting' offer is made.
"I am sure that some European clubs will be willing to capture him, but so far we have not received any specific offer," said Sparta spokesman Ondrej Kasik
"Therefore, we cannot speculate on how much we would demand for his transfer.
"Juraj is a very important player which he showed mainly in the last season. After his return from South Africa (on Thursday), we count on him joining us and helping us in the Champions League qualification.
"If we receive an interesting offer which would satisfy the player, we will release him."Player Specials. Click here to bet.
