Bradley: Glowing reputation
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes USA national team coach Bob Bradley would be a success in Europe.
The experienced coach has been linked with the vacant managerial post at Fulham, with the Cottagers still searching for a replacement for Roy Hodgson.
Bradley has a proven track record, having cut his teeth on the American University scene and furthered himself in the MLS, and a switch to England is no longer a pipedream.
He helped to enhance his reputation still further by guiding America to the last-16 of the 2010 World Cup, with his side drawing widespread acclaim for the manner in which they went about their business.
United chief Ferguson has now added his voice to the growing support, with the veteran Scot of the opinion that Bradley could handle life in the Premier League.
"I think he would do well," he said.
"I like Bob, I like his approach, I think he has a steely determination about him and he goes into a lot of detail in his coaching."
Ferguson has also expressed his surprise at learning that American officials have yet to offer Bradley an extension to his current deal, which is set to expire in December.
"I think he did a fantastic job (at the World Cup) and I am surprised the USA have not sprinted to his house and given him a new contract, I must say that," added Ferguson.
It remains to be seen whether Bradley will be offered an opportunity to try his luck in Europe, but Ferguson feels the time may be right for the 52-year-old to take that plunge.
He added: "He may want the challenge himself, I think that what he has achieved with the USA has been very good.
"He is a young man and I don't think there is anything wrong with taking a challenge in Europe or England.
"I know he has been linked with Fulham and I don't think it is beyond his boundaries at all. I think he is very capable of taking on a challenge like that."
