Stevenage boss Graham Westley challenged his players to aim for 'the next level' after they earned a battling 1-1 draw at Oldham.

Westley's side took an early lead through Marc Roberts in Saturday's League One clash at Boundary Park before Shefki Kuqi levelled with his second goal in as many games for Oldham.

And the manager said: "At 1-0, we made the mistake of not pushing hard enough for another goal.

"Oldham were shell-shocked and there for the taking. A second goal would have made a massive difference and we should have done more.

"Away games are difficult - you've got the travel, the home support and the influence on the referee's decisions - but we don't set out to draw.

"It's fine to have a decent unbeaten run but you'd need to reach the next level.

"To me, if you draw too many games you are messing about. Wherever we are in the table isn't good enough."
