Marcel Granollers and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez both won in Casablanca on Saturday to set up an all-Spanish final at the Grand Prix Hassan II.

Fourth seed Granollers was the first to secure his place, defeating Argentinian Federico Delbonis 6-1 6-4 in an hour and a quarter.

The clash between Garcia-Lopez and fellow Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena looked a straightforward one for the former, who is ranked 220 places higher than his opponent.

But the 30-year-old was pushed all the way by his younger compatriot before finally emerging with a 6-2 6-7 (6-8) 6-4 victory after 2 hours and 47 minutes.

After dropping a one-sided opening set of the semi-final Carballes Baena broke serve to earn a 6-5 lead in the second. Garcia-Lopez recovered the break, but lost the tie-break.

Garcia-Lopez seized the initiative with an immediate break in the deciding set, but again gave his opponent a route back into the match.

The next time he got ahead Garcia-Lopez made his lead stick, however, serving things out for a gruelling victory.
