Fed Cup captain Judy Murray says British No 1 Laura Robson needs to be careful when planning her return from a wrist injury.
Robson has completed just one match in 2014, losing 6-3 6-0 to Kirsten Flipkens in the first round of the Australian Open having retired hurt when playing in a warm-up event in Hobart.
The 20-year-old has now pulled out of upcoming tournaments in Morocco next week and Madrid on May 3, raising doubts about her participation in the French Open and Wimbledon.
"I'm not sure when she's going to be back. You have to be careful with wrist injuries," Murray said.
"She has not played since the Australian Open so she will be anxious to get back playing, but you can't rush that kind of injury.
"Andy (Murray) went through a wrist injury some years ago and psychologically it's a difficult one because everything in tennis goes through your wrist."
The former Wimbledon junior champion achieved a career-high ranking of 27th after becoming the first British woman since 1998 to reach the fourth round at the All England Club last year. She finished the year ranked 46th.
