Andrea Petkovic reached her second final of the season after a hard-fought 4-6 6-2 6-4 victory over Grace Min at the Gastein Ladies tournament on Saturday.
Petkovic, who won the event in 2009, fell a set behind to the 20-year-old from Atlanta, before winning the next and then rain interrupted play for one hour after the opening game of the final set.
After the resumption of play, Petkovic, the fourth seed, broke 138th-ranked Min, who had never been beyond the second round of a WTA event before, at 3-3.
And despite missing one match point on the American's serve before closing out the match in the next game.
The 20th-ranked German, who won her third career title in Charleston in April, will play American qualifier Shelby Rogers in Sunday's final.
Rogers, 21, got the better of the second-seeded Italian Sara Errani in a gripping contest, taking it 7-6 (14/12) 6-3.
