The Italian dropped only 13 points as he raced through in under an hour after breaking his opponent's serve a total of four times over the course of the one-sided encounter.
He will face Jaziri in the last four of the Moscow-based tournament after the 28-year-old became the first Tunisian player to reach the semi-finals of an ATP event.
Jaziri progressed due to a 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 win over Lukas Rosol in a tight contest where the lone break of serve came in the second set.
"I'm very happy to reach the semi-finals today. I'm very excited to be at this stage and why not reach my first final too? I hope to continue in this way; I'm playing good," Jaziri told the ATP Tour's official website.
The other semi-final will see Ivo Karlovic take on Brazilian No 4 seed Thomaz Bellucci after both players recorded straight-sets victories on Friday.
Karlovic beat France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 while Bellucci saw off Jerzy Janowicz 6-4 7-6 (7-3).
