Whilst on paper that represents a tough draw, Wozniacki is not the player she was and Robson will fancy her chances of beating the former world No 1.
Robson has never won a main draw match at Roland Garros but Dane Wozniacki does not enjoy clay and is in terrible form, having lost her last four matches on the surface.
British No 2 Heather Watson is playing her first tournament after two months out with glandular fever - she will meet Swiss Stefanie Voegele.
Elena Baltacha is the third British woman in the main draw - she will be favourite in her opener with New Zealand's Marina Erakovic.
Baltacha has dropped to 234th in the world after eight months out recovering from an ankle operation but has used her protected ranking to secure direct entry into the tournament.
Serena Williams, the overwhelming favourite in Paris, faces world No 83 Anna Tatishvili in the first round.
A year ago Williams lost her opening match to 111th-ranked Virginie Razzano, the American's only first-round defeat in 50 Grand Slam tournaments.
Williams is seeded No 1 this year and is on a career-best 24-match winning streak whilst Tatishvili is 0-2 at Roland Garros.
If the draw goes according to the seedings, Williams will face No 8 seed Angelique Kerber in the quarter-final.
Defending champion Maria Sharapova is seeded to take on No 7 Petra Kvitova in the last eight and Victoria Azarenka will be up against 2011 champion Li Na.
Sharapova, the second seed, tackles Taiwan's Heish Su-Wei in the first round while third seed Azarenka, who is scheduled to face Sharapova in the semi-finals, has a nasty first round draw against the talented Russian Elena Vesnina.
Fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska is likely face 2012 runner-up Sara Errani in the other quarter-final with the winner in that quarter likely to face Williams in the semis.
