The British No 2 and No 3 ranked players have been invited to take part in the pre-Wimbledon event alongside Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis who also receives a wild card for the tournament which begins on June 9.
Tournament director Ross Hutchins said: "Marcos, Dan and James are all excellent additions to the line-up.
"Marcos (a former runner-up at the Australian Open) is still one of the most popular players with tennis fans and, although his ranking has suffered because of injury in recent years, he remains capable of beating the best players in the world.
"Dan and James have both had good results at The Queen's Club in recent years and we look forward to welcoming them in June."
Ward, in particular, reached the last four in this tournament in 2011 when he was also awarded a wild card, finally losing to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who in turn was beaten by Andy Murray in the final.
Already confirmed for the grass court tournament in west London are Tomas Berdych, songa, Grigor Dimitrov and Lleyton Hewitt, as well as defending champion Murray who is expected to start as favourite.
Murray will be chasing his fourth victory in the event which would equal the record for the Open era.
John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Hewitt and Andy Roddick have all won the men's singles four times.
