Two thousand and nine promises to be a big year for the 18-year-old Dane, who has already made great strides since turning professional.
Widely tipped as an emerging player with the talent to challenge the leading names in the sport, Wozniacki could become a household name in the near future.
Her rapid rise towatds the top began when she won Junior Wimbledon in 2006; she also finished runner-up in the girls' singles in Melbourne that year.
On her senior Australian Open debut 12 months ago, Wozniacki reached the last 16 and went on to repeat that feat at the US Open.
In between she managed to capture her first WTA Tour title - the first ever Danish woman to claim a singles crown.
She ended the year with three titles and looks a dangerous outsider who the big names will want to avoid.
