Andy Murray once again carries British hopes at this year's US Open and he will be hoping to go one step further than he did when reaching the 2008 final.
The Scottish star made a major breakthrough at Flushing Meadows 12 months ago when he ousted Rafael Nadal in the semis but then fell to Roger Federer in the following day's final.

Murray's win-loss record currently stands at 34-3 and he warmed up for this event well with victory in the Montreal Masters event before a run to the semis in Cincinnati the following week.
