Wickmayer - plenty to prove on grass.

Player Profile

After a winning start to 2010, emerging Belgian talent Wickmayer has gradually slipped off the radar.

She is still ranked inside the top 16 in the world though, and has potential on grass having reached the final at Birmingham back in 2008.

That said, it is hard to expect anything from a player who is yet to win a single match at the All England Club.

Her preparations for this year's showpiece were derailed in the very first round at Eastbourne - Kim Clijsters dumping her compatriot out 6-1 6-1.

Agile and slick, Wickmayer possesses one of the most lethal forehands on the circuit. Whether it can fire on grass remains to be seen.
