Peer - good start to the season.

Player Profile

Israeli Peer has a rather uninspiring record at Wimbledon.

She has only reached the second week once in five visits to SW19, although her form in 2010 suggests she could be primed for a best-ever run.

Peer moved to a career and Israeli record-high ranking after reaching four semi-finals and one final in her opening 10 WTA Tour events of this season.

Her last 16-run at the French Open equalled her best showing in Paris before she ran into a fired-up Serena Williams.

She still has a lot to prove on the grass though, and is unlikely to mount a serious challenge here.
