Mikhail Youzhny - stuttering season so far.

Player Profile

After a barnstorming finish to 2010, world number 13 Youzhny has failed to hit the same heights so far this season.

The Russian made the semi-finals of the US Open for the second time in his career in 2010 and he refused to let up as the season drew to a close, winning in Kuala Lumpur and finishing runner-up in St Petersburg.

However, his 8-9 record this season displays a clear dip in form heading to Roland Garros.

The 28-year-old suffered first-round defeats in Monte Carlo, Madrid and Rome and could be a seed qualifiers want to face when play begins.

The mental side of Youzhny's game has not always been the best and he will have to produce something rather special to better last year's career-best quarter-final run.
